Changing the world together
A photovoltaic installation has a very large positive impact on the climate. This is because:
- Half of the energy produced on Spain comes from non-renewable sources, which emits about 0.16 kg of CO2/kWh.
- Energy transportation has many losses and it is necessary to produce 2kWh for each kWh we consume at home.
As photovoltaics is renewable and is produced at the same place of consumption, it is realistic to say that each kWh that we produce in our country saves 0.32kg of CO2 in the atmosphere.
